The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-energy, results-obsessed Business Development Manager to help us capture market share and accelerate Matilda Cloud’s growth trajectory. This is not a role for someone looking to manage existing accounts and coast. This is a role for someone who wakes up every morning thinking about the next deal, the next partnership, and the next breakthrough.
You will be at the forefront of our go-to-market engine, identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing business with enterprise customers who are ready to transform how they operate in the cloud. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as the ability to engage Spanish-speaking prospects and partners across the U.S. market is a significant advantage.
What You'll Own
Own and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, targeting mid-market and enterprise accounts across key U.S. verticals.
Build and execute strategic go-to-market plans for Matilda Cloud’s AI-driven cloud management platform, spanning SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud solutions.
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with a sense of urgency and purpose.
Forge deep relationships with enterprise decision-makers, technology leaders, and channel partners who value innovation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing to craft compelling, tailored proposals, demos, and business cases.
Lead negotiations with confidence, protecting Matilda Cloud’s interests while building long-term partnerships.
Deliver accurate pipeline forecasts, account plans, and executive-level reporting that informs company strategy.
Represent Matilda Cloud at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events as an ambassador for our brand and mission.
Stay sharp on market trends, competitor positioning, and the evolving cloud landscape to keep us ahead of the curve.
What You Bring
5–8 years of business development or enterprise sales experience, with at least 3 years selling cloud solutions (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, or hybrid cloud).
Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets. You don’t just hit quota, you set a new bar.
Deep familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud - OCI) and the enterprise IT decision-making process.
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence. You can hold a room from a cold call to a boardroom close.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus; ability to engage diverse U.S. markets and Spanish-speaking enterprise buyers is highly valued.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Self-starter mentality with a strategic mindset and the hustle to back it up.
Located in the United States; must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
