Matilda, Inc is an Equal Opportunity employer offering competitive benefits and compensation. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and be able to commute daily to our office. No agencies or third-party recruiters, please.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-impact Director of Product Marketing to own and drive the full marketing function at Matilda Cloud — spanning product marketing, brand, and demand generation. This is a rare opportunity to shape the voice, strategy, and growth engine of a platform built to revolutionize the enterprise cloud lifecycle. You will set strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute it, working directly with product, sales, and engineering while managing third-party marketing agencies and hyperscaler co-marketing partnerships with AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud. If you are a cloud-savvy marketer who thrives at the intersection of storytelling and pipeline building, this role was built for you.

Responsibilities:

Product Marketing & Positioning
  • Own end-to-end product marketing for the Matilda Cloud platform — positioning, messaging frameworks, launch plans, and sales enablement materials.

  • Translate complex cloud platform capabilities — migration, modernization, optimization, and automation — into crisp, compelling narratives for both technical and executive audiences.

  • Develop and maintain competitive intelligence: track the cloud management and FinOps landscape, build battlecards, and equip the sales team to win deals.

  • Partner closely with product and engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on market feedback and customer insights.

  • Build a rich library of technical content — white papers, solution briefs, webinars, blogs, and one-pagers — that establishes Matilda Cloud as a thought leader in autonomous cloud lifecycle management.

    Go-to-Market Strategy & Demand Generation

  • Design and execute an integrated GTM strategy across digital, paid search, social, email, events, and partner co-marketing channels.

  • Lead demand generation programs that fill the pipeline — set targets, run campaigns, measure results, and continuously optimize for ROI.

  • Activate and manage hyperscaler co-marketing programs with AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud — including joint campaigns, co-sell initiatives, and marketplace presence.

  • Source, onboard, and manage third-party marketing agencies and creative partners to deliver quality campaigns on time and on budget.

  • Own SEO, SEM, and website strategy to grow organic traffic and inbound leads; collaborate with web teams to optimize conversion paths and landing pages.

  • Build and manage lead-nurturing workflows in HubSpot (or equivalent) to move prospects through the funnel efficiently.

    Brand, Communications & Analytics
  • Define and steward the Matilda Cloud brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all external touchpoints and channels.

  • Build influencer, analyst, and community programs to grow Matilda Cloud’s profile and credibility in the cloud management space.

  • Produce regular analytics reports across all marketing channels; extract insights and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to leadership on strategy and spend.

  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to align marketing strategy with revenue goals; adjust messaging and positioning based on field feedback and market signals.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, B2B SaaS marketing, or cloud/technology marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level role.

  • Deep, working knowledge of public cloud platforms — AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and/or Oracle Cloud — including how they are purchased, deployed, and managed at enterprise scale.

  • Proven track record of building and executing GTM strategies that generate measurable pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Hands-on experience activating hyperscaler partner marketing programs (e.g., AWS ISV Accelerate, Microsoft Azure Marketplace, GCP Partner Advantage, or Oracle Cloud partner programs).

  • Experience managing and directing third-party marketing agencies and creative partners to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.

  • Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and SEMrush (or equivalents).

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills — equally comfortable crafting an executive brief and a technical blog post.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to measuring campaign performance and informing strategy.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience marketing cloud migration, cloud management, FinOps, or cloud cost optimization platforms to enterprise buyers.

  • Familiarity with DevOps, SRE, infrastructure automation, or cloud-native buyer personas.

  • Experience with analyst relations programs (Gartner, Forrester, IDC) or B2B public relations.

  • Background in design or copywriting as a complement to strategic marketing leadership.

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
